History
The first plank of the Minerva 6 Group was laid in 2017 after the founder, Edward Byers was awarded the Medal of Honor by President Barrack Obama. During this time, Ed served at the Pentagon in the J39 and was part of the In-Q-Tel Interface Center - DOD (QIC-D). While there, his responsibilities included an eight-figure portfolio focused on AI/ML Predictive Analytics and LEO SAR SAT. He was personally charged with the Autonomous Maritime Unmanned Systems (AUMS) initiative, which resulted in the adoption of Ocean Aero’s Triton vessel by the Department of the Navy. In addition, the corporate sector, government, and academia requested Ed to speak about the elite team culture, overcoming adversity, accomplishing the improbable, and faith. Seeing the opportunity to service the private and public sectors, Ed determined to go to Wharton for his MBA and create an organization of high-caliber individuals. Today, The Minerva 6 Group provides unique solutions to clients by leveraging decades of special operations experience and business acumen with modern education. We stand ready to answer your call.
