Clearing the Bar and Setting New Standards in Cybersecurity

“The difference between combat posture in a UFC bout, and the security posture in Cyber, is that the UFC bout ends.” – Gideon Hankins (Computer Security and Information Assurance major at Norwich University and cybersecurity intern at Minerva 6)

“Posture for combat is so vital” – Conor McGregor (mixed martial artist and UFC featherweight and lightweight double-champion)
Each computer-generated asset of a company is susceptible to a multitude of assault vectors, which then affords for an almost unlimited combination in which an organization can be breached regarding cyber-attacks. A company’s Cybersecurity Posture signifies an institute’s overall state of cybersecurity readiness; in other words, the ability of a company to ward off and defend itself from an attack—or, in Minerva 6 cyber terms, to guard against the dark arts.
Microsoft Defender issues a score known as the Microsoft Secure Score. This score is established by the standards set by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and begins with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).
Minerva 6 is proud to announce that we have completed the roadmap to meeting all standards set by the NIST and have earned our CMMC.
To achieve this, Minerva 6 had to first define the policies and what they meant for us. We identified any and all possible threats and issues, and then offered and generated solutions.
Microsoft has set the security standards for decades, and our current MS Security Score is above 60%, which is nearly double that of the comparative score provided by Microsoft. The comparative score is established through aggregated data collected by Microsoft from comparable organizations.
What does this mean? It indicates that we are leveraging state-of-the-art technology and not only meeting but vastly exceeding our peers and competition in the realm of cybersecurity.
You, and your data, are safe with us.

“The Minerva 6 Team will continue to work tirelessly to become a leader in consulting and government service, and the betterment of this great nation, especially with respect to our Veteran community.”

CEO and founder, Ed Byers.

Mission Accomplished!

Minerva 6 Joins USSOCOM (United States Special Operations Command) Warrior Care Program in Helping Special Operations Veterans Transition into the Private Sector. Minerva 6, a CVE Service-Disabled Veteran Owned and Operated Business, continues to build a tradition of caring for the welfare of Special Operations Veterans and their families. Evidence of this can be found in every aspect and component of our culture, which is built on the foundation of Strength Through Humility© and the enduring backs of our Team of Veterans– hence, we are extremely proud and excited to announce the recent partnership with the SOCOM Warrior Care Program in helping Special Operations Veterans transition out of the military and into the professional and private sector. Founded as a USSOCOM Commander’s program under the leadership of Army General (Ret.) Douglas “Doug” Brown, the SOCOM Warrior Care Program is a congressionally recognized Warrior Care Program that has provided non-medical advocacy and assistance to wounded, ill, and injured Special Operations Forces (SOF) service members and their families since 2005. USSOCOM, unfortunately, does not have the necessary time and resources to afford a conventional attrition rate because of the demand of its primary mission of overseeing Special Operations Forces from the Navy, Army, Air Force, and Marine Corps. With the weight of more than a decade of active warfare falling on the shoulders of Special Operations Forces, the existence of a coalition like the SOCOM Warrior Care Program is more important than ever.
The Minerva 6 Team, led by President and COO, Madison Byers, has worked vigorously over the past few months to be officially approved by the SOCOM Warrior Care Program to provide Transition/Internship to pivoting Special Operations Veterans.
